I can't express how thankful I am for Ashley. I don't look like a typical Crohn's patient. I'm overweight because my body is in survival mode and I'm not eating enough. I also have many food allergies as well which complicated my nutrition. I had so much hesitation going to a dietician because I worked with many in the past who didn't actually help me, just told me to lose weight. Every single time I discuss things with Ashley I cry because I'm so grateful for her understanding of what's going on and how to help me. Not only helping me diet with the foods limitations I have, but finding and sending me actual products that I can eat and where to buy them. She is an Angel and I've been feeling so much better since I started her program. I even lost 6 lbs without trying because I'm actually eating and I'm finally getting the proper nutrition to let my body heal. I know what to eat now, and I'm not as overwhelmed as I was in the past. Again, I can't express the gratitude I have for this life changing knowledge. Thank you Ashley. I finally have hope.
I highly recommend working with The Chron's & Colitis Dietitians. I was/am growing through some IBS issues and needed to change my diet and eating habits. I had no idea where to start.

Rebecca, was my nutritionist, and held my hand the entire time. Answered all my questions, spoke with the doctors I was working with, reviewed my charts, provided me with great info on IBS and was available to chat at anytime.

My pain has significantly decreased since working with Rebecca and I know what my food triggers are.

It was great for working sessions but also one off questions.

Having struggled with digestive issues for decades, I was looking for a more lifestyle-based methodology to help improve things. While working with the CCD team, I learned so much in just the first month than I did in years from my doctors. It’s like receiving a phd level education on IBD but in a bite sized and easily understood manner. Working with Rebecca and Ashley, I went from having no energy, frequent trips to the restroom, etc to more confidence when going out, more energy to play with kids, excited to cook different things, and an overall knowledge of food as medicine concepts. If you’re on the fence about signing up, just do it!

C&C Dietitians are rock stars! These ladies have been there and done it and want nothing more than to see you live a life free from the crippling symptoms of IBD. Food is fuel and should be enjoyed but it is also medicine and provides the nutrients our bodies need to succeed. These ladies are loving, kind, patient and knowledgeable providing the wisdom and support needed to help you overcome your IBD and its symptoms. They worked alongside my doctor/s and paid closer attention to my symptoms than I did. They provided as detailed of a diet plan as needed as well as helpful tools that allow them to walk with me every step of the way. I personally enjoyed the very informative lessons and the very quick response time to my dietary questions. I went from 148 lbs and in and out of hospitals and ERs to 200 lbs full of energy and working out daily thanks to the loving support of these ladies. I specifically worked with Taryn and can’t thank her enough for all the time she poured into me. Thank you ladies and God bless!

I started working with The C&C Dietitians in January 2022. I had been in a UC flare for 4 months and had limited my diet to scrambled eggs, salmon and sourdough bread since they were the only foods I could digest. Meanwhile, my labs were showing iron and vitamin d deficiencies and I had very little energy. When my GI suggested I cook liver on a cast iron pan to improve my iron levels, I knew it was time to look elsewhere for nutrition support. As luck would have it, I came across Ashley Hurst. What I love most about Ashley and her team of registered dietitians, is their ability to relate to living with IBD firsthand. With the help of their modules, nutrition plan, supplements, and monthly 1:1 consultations, I've been symptom free for 6 months!

I had had a terrible history of ulcerative colitis. I have had trouble keeping a job in the past and flares have put me in the hospital. I struggled for years with the illness. Then doctors put me on biologics. The side effects became unbearable. I tried some nutrition stuff in the past but it had minimal results. Then I found Ashley and her team. I was skeptical at first. Then I realized Ashley has a severe form of my illness. She treats herself with the same type of treatment plan I would be on and that sold me. I have been off biologics for over six months and I feel better than when I was on them. But the this protocol is making my body healthier not harming my body like the meds. I only wish I found this program earlier. This program is great and you actually get educated on how and why the protocol works. I can't say enough about this life changing experience!

Ashley walked with me through the beginning of my Crohn’s diagnosis and journey to finding a new diet that balanced finding a healthy variety along with not feeling constantly diet-restricted. Her Crohn’s and colitis educational course was ultra helpful to my better understanding of nutrition, supplements, and a more whole body approach to Crohn’s disease. She’s also a wonderful listener, and I appreciated her answering my never ending list of questions.

So grateful for the help and assistance of Ashley and the team. You can tell they genuinely care.

Will & Karen

“As a mom, I was concerned for my son and using forums and google searches to get the information I needed which I knew wasn’t the best. Now instead of guessing, I feel we have a solid nutrition plan in place and the tools we need to get through the ups and downs of IBD. I feel much more confident in my sons (Will) food choices & nutrition plan.”

“I had been in a flare for over 12 years and didn’t know what remission was like, after 3 months with [the CCD team] I’m finally in remission! I can honestly say that they have changed my life! I was very hesitant to try out what I thought would be more generic advice at but I was pleasantly surprised. I HIGHLY recommend them, especially if you have IBD, Crohn’s or Colitis!”

Becky

“I don’t think I’ll ever go without the support of a Dietitian […] I’ve noticed a big reduction in my gut symptoms and even joint pain after incorporating what I learned. I enjoyed how concise and seamless the process was.”

She's helped me more than three different doctors...

“[Crohn’s and Colitis Dietitians] is great. They listen very well and pay attention to what you say. They’ve helped me more in 5 months, than 3 different doctors did in a couple of years. They’re knowledgeable and able to apply their knowledge to help. I now have tools to help me manage my food sensitivities and I feel I getting real help for the future. I highly recommend.”

Within two weeks I noticed a difference....

“I went to [Crohn’s and Colitis Dietitians] with severe stomach issues after being blown off by numerous doctors. Within 2 weeks I noticed a difference and now 6 months later I feel like a whole new woman. I recommend anyone and everyone to visit them.”

My UC is now in remission!

“My UC is now in remission! I still have bumps in the road, but I now know what works best for my body and have a clear idea of what nutrition treatments are most effective. Thankful to finally be able to get back to running again.”

Life-changing for me

“Meeting [the CCD team] and following their approach has been life-changing for me.

I was diagnosed with a debilitating autoimmune disease in addition to suffering with chronic inflammation. Her guidance based on scientific knowledge to healthier eating and supplement support of my micronutrient deficiencies has reduced my inflammation and helped keep my autoimmune symptoms at bay.

My practitioner was a great listener, easy to talk to, genuinely caring and able to apply their knowledge to help.”
