Blueberry Vanilla Smoothie

minutesThis blueberry smoothie is quick and easy to throw together and my husband says it tastes like ice cream! What more could you want from a smoothie?
Ingredients
1 cup soy milk
1 serving plant-based vanilla protein powder (we like OWYN, or Orgain)
1-2 dates
½ frozen banana
¾ cup frozen blueberries
1 handful spinach
3 Tbsp. hemp hearts
1 Tbsp. almond butter
Optional: add plant-based Greek yogurt (like Kite Hill or Forager) to the sides of the glass before pouring smoothie into the glass for an eye appealing smoothie!
Directions
- Add all ingredients to a high powered blender and blend until smooth. Serve in your favourite smoothie cup and enjoy!
Note: if you do not like or do not have protein powder, feel free to leave it out and add a splash of vanilla extract
