If you want to level up your snack game – this is for you! Out of all the legumes – chickpeas are one of the ones I most commonly hear people tolerate the best. If you are nervous about adding chickpeas into your diet- start with hummus. When you are ready to expand to other options- this is a great way to incorporate them into a fun snack. Crunchy Chickpeas - the snack you didn't think you needed Author: Ashley Hurst, R.D. Prep time: 5 mins Cook time: 20 mins Total time: 25 mins Serves: 2 Ingredients 1 can of chickpeas 1 tablespoon of olive oil 2 teaspoons of dill Juice of 1/2 a lemon A pinch of salt Instructions Turn on oven to 350 F (176 C) Toss 1 can of chickpea with ingredients above and place on a sheet pan Bake at 350 F (176 C). For barley crunchy chickpeas - bake for 10 minutes. For very crunchy chickpeas - bake for 30 minutes or more. 3.5.3251
