Who We Are

The Crohn’s and Colitis Dietitians™ private practice is an expert team made up of Ashley Hurst, the founder, along with dietitian Danielle Leffler. Our team serves Crohn’s and Colitis patients and those living with other painful digestive conditions.

We understand the things you’re struggling with right now – the pain, the bloating, the constant running for the bathroom – because all four of the dietitians in our practice have IBD!

As a team, we have had the privilege of working with thousands of patients with digestive challenges, and we have seen the incredible transformations that are possible for people with IBD.

We are looking forward to helping you find relief from your symptoms and make peace with food again.

Your Potential Results

By the end of this program, you will understand how to navigate your IBD symptoms using nutrition.

And although we don’t guarantee results, many of our clients have achieved outcomes like:

Reducing symptoms like diarrhea, constipation, and bloating
Eliminating medications like Immodium to regulate diarrhea
Reducing the frequency and intensity of flares
Getting to remission after years of experiencing flares
Experiencing less stress around food
Reduced inflammation marker fecal calprotectin from over 100 to 38 in 3 months

Please note that guaranteeing outcomes would be unethical. Dietary strategies are only one of many ways that we can impact our IBD. We will do everything we can do to support you and provide you with the tools you need to succeed in reducing symptoms and your long-term risk of flare.

This Program Is Not for Everyone

We are very selective about who we work with in this program since we prioritize results and want to make sure each person gets the support and accountability they need to be successful.

This program is not for you if you:

Are expecting overnight results

This is a 6-month program that will require you to make changes to your health habits.

Are wanting a one time session

This program is for those who want and need support and are committed to putting in the time it sometimes takes to see results!

Already have an IBD nutrition expert

We have worked with many IBD patients like us – so we will want to take the lead when it comes to your nutrition so you can get the best results

Aren't open-minded or interested in learning

Working on your nutrition might challenge your beliefs and change your mind – being open to this will help

Need to prioritize financial savings

We have group programs and other ways to support you if this program is not a fit for your financial situation.

Ready to Take the Next Step?

Our 1:1 program is focused on getting you results by bringing in tools to help with reducing your risk of flare up, reducing symptoms & improving energy.  You’ll have as much support as you need throughout working together. We currently have many applicants for 1:1 support- so there are limited spots.

This level of customized support is:

Flexible 6 or 9 Month Plans

$583/month after $1499 deposit*

$389/month after $1499 deposit*

*(or pay in full for $500 off)

Why we don’t do insurance:

Our priority for our 1:1 patients is getting results and providing exceptional care. To accomodate the level of support we know is often needed for IBD and to pay what we feel is a fair wage to our team – insurance simply does not allow us to do this. If you are looking for lower cost options- check out CCRB – if looking for free or lower cost options check out our main services page.
